Privacy

The free demo needs no account. Pro and Premium need an account so we can manage your subscription and saved projects. This page explains what we collect, who processes it, and how long we keep it.

What you say and draw

To turn speech into diagrams, notes, summaries and step breakdowns, the text from each pause is sent to our server and then to OpenAI, our AI processor. A pen sketch is sent as an image the same way. We do not keep this text or the image after the answer comes back.

Standard Voice uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. Your browser handles the recording and may send audio to its maker (for Chrome, Google). We only receive the resulting text.

Enhanced Voice (Pro and Premium) records short audio clips and sends them to our server, then to OpenAI for transcription. We do not store the clips.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your email address and sign-in details. You can sign in with email and password or with Google; with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.

Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card and billing details; we never see your full card number. We store your subscription status, plan and billing dates so we know what you can use.

Saved projects and storage

Pro and Premium projects, and their version history, are stored in our database, hosted by our cloud provider. Boards in the free demo stay in your browser; clearing this site's data deletes them.

If paid access ends, your projects stay available to view and download, read-only, for 90 days. After that they may be deleted. You can download a copy from your account page at any time, or ask us to delete your account and data sooner.

Live links and replays

A live viewer link stores the current board and latest caption in our database so people with the link can watch. It is used only to run that live room. A replay link contains the diagram inside the link itself; anyone you send it to can see that board.

Usage counts and abuse protection

To enforce plan limits and prevent abuse, we count usage per account, per demo session and per network address. The free demo sets a cookie so it can only be used once. These counts are not sold and are not used for advertising.
